Open air cinema comes to Dublin!!!
Hi guys! What´s happening? Any plans for the weekend?
We want to recommend another way to improve your listening skills and pronunciation:
Watch movies in English!
And from today, if you are in Dublin you can enjoy the open cinema organised by Happening.ie in collaboration with Dublin City Council.
It was supposed to start on 1st of May, but it was postponed because of the bad weather. The open cinema will be around Dublin all the summer season, taking place in the most beautiful green areas of the city such as: Merrion Square, Fitzwilliam Square, The Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Rathmines, Phibsborough, Herbert Park…
As the weather here is a little bit crazy, the organization will announce the dates 36 hours in advance. You can check it out on www.happenings.ie
Today the open-air screening will take place in Rathmines Leinster Crick, with the Bill Murray movie classic, Groundhog Day, a very nice famous romantic comedy! The gates will open at 7 pm and the movie is starting at 9 pm when it gets darker. It’s costs just €5 and you can bring your own food (no alcohol ) or eat something from the Irish Village Markets which are located there.
If you don´t know this film, here is the trailer to see what it is about (click on the image)
So, what better way to have fun and improve your listening skills? Tell your partner, your friends, or your family and let´s do something different!
Don´t forget to bring a blanket or jacket!! 🙂
