Travelling Languages is an inclusive teaching method which combines traditional classroom tuitions with an outside social programme that helps improve the students’
English skills while travelling around Ireland.
Our tailor made programmes provide a perfect balanced programme of learning, exploring, enjoying and relaxing; a trip to broaden each student’s language skills and knowledge of the country visiting Waterford, Cork, Ennis, Galway, the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher, Dublin while having fun and meeting new people throughout.
We enable every student to practise English constantly 24-7! The aim is to help them put their language into practice from the moment they arrive. Everyone, from our teachers to our Talk Jockeys (TJs), will facilitate the interaction of all students to improve your and their level of fluency.
This 2 weeks course is specifically for students 14 to 17 years of age and gives each student the perfect combination of the very popular ‘class plus host family’ programme and the travel with total immersion experience.
It combines 10 days in class, accommodation with host families and hotels/hostels while travelling, full board, the ability to practise English constantly in a total English-speaking environment, the confidence to overcome the challenge of speaking a foreign language and the opportunity to explore the best that Ireland has to offer.
Formal English classes are held every morning by certified teachers while afternoons and weekends are spent travelling around some of Ireland’s world-famous sights.

Travelling Languages’ model is designed to make sure that all students are constantly engaged in conversation in the language that they are learning. We want students to experience the best environment possible and obviously the accommodation plays a big part in this process.
For the last 7 nights in Dublin we avail of hospitality from Irish families who will host our students in a friendly and warm atmosphere. This is not only a good way for students to integrate into Irish life and culture, but also helps them to become familiar with the city being visited and with the language used on day to day basis.
All host families are carefully selected and continually monitored. Travel time between host family and the school is about 30-40 minutes on public transports.
Travelling Languages has selected the best and most comfortable accommodation in each city. A friendly environment helps students to feel more confident when using their chosen foreign language.
Quality is a must and all the accommodations provided have spacious and comfortable rooms and are conveniently located to the city centres we visit.
Travelling Languages’ hotels have been personally tested by our staff. They provide the following:
- linen and towels;
- Free Wi-Fi;
- TV room and fully equipped kitchen;
- continental breakfast;
- 24 hour security;
- Laundry service (not included);
- Secure locker (rooms are private and only allocated to Travelling Languages’ students).
Note that in Waterford and in Cork the group will stay in a three stars hotel as there are no hostels up to Travelling Languages’ standards.
Moving from town to town is a fantastic way to keep adults and especially kids engaged. It helps to increase their knowledge, to enhance their experience and, most importantly, to ensure that they practise their chosen foreign language while under continuous linguistic supervision.
Other than that it is the perfect vacation for a family!
Students will be split in up to 3 different classes/levels depending on numbers. Every activity inside and outside the
classroom is designed to encourage the students to improve their confidence in using the language.
The group will always be supervised by teachers group leaders and TJs, who will take care of him/her and make sure that the group keeps united. Furthermore a Group Leader (provided by our school) will travel with the group and will be available in every moment to ensure the best experience for your son/daughter. He/She won’t be allowed to get back in the hostel late at night and drinking alcohol will be strictly forbidden. The environment will be always safe and caring.
Thanks a million for the wonderful experience that our daughter did. Thanks, especially for taking good care of her and for helping her to improve her English while having fun and meeting new friends.
